the history and purpose

jazzers, artists, poets, lost generations, beatniks, rockers, punks, skateboarders, stoners, hippies, hackers, bounty hunters, gamblers, lovers, generation x - whatever the designation, there have always been outlaws in our society who live in pursuit of autonomy. At times they are revered for their roles as pioneers, challenging the unknown; other times society considers them lawless desperadoes and a dangerous presence. Yet, really, it is only their exuberant skills, music, style, and an autonomy founded to express opinions different from those of others that sets them apart from the rest of society.

The year is 2002 AD. The future is now. Driven out of society by unbearable rules and stereotypes, the outlaws chose self-expression as their final frontier. With the section-by-section collapse of the world's value system and self-awareness, a large mass of unindividuality came, bringing the now confused concepts of freedom, violence, illegality, and love. Whereas, new rules and a new generation of outlaws came into being who set up their own society and became forever unique from each other and the world around them, joined only by their desire for autonomy. They broke the chains of prose and created a new genre in itself. People referred to these outsiders and their genre as The Real Folk Blues...

From Death to Life (our REAL purpose)

we the united sheep of america. we will do anything to feel accepted. we follow the crowd, even when the crowd is going nowhere. we embrace its values as our own, even when it has none. we intoxicate ourselves to the point of mindlessness, and give our bodies over to someone else's pleasure. we spend our lives trying to pursue that which some call 'success'. or we try to follow endless religious traditions that lead us nowhere. we are continually filling ourselves yet we still feel empty because we forget: long ago a man died on a wooden cross, nails through his hands and feet, blood dripping on the ground, in order to release us from the sheep mentality. love held him on that cross and cries out to us now. the choice is ours: we accept the truth or deny Christ. his truth changes conformity to courage - fear to hope - apathy to love - death to life. now is the time. surrender your life to the ONE truth. "I have come to give life, and give it more abundantly" (john 10:10)
